Building your dream home should be a creative journey with you in the driver’s seat directing a responsive, professional team of craftsman. HPC wants the day that you move into your new home to be the culmination of a delightful building experience. To achieve this goal requires open communication and a clear process consisting of the following steps:
The process begins with an initial meeting between you and our team. Describe to us the ideas you have for your new home and let us show you our portfolio. We’ll discuss the broad requirements for your construction project, such as design, budget, and schedule. By the end of this meeting you will have a clear understanding of our approach to custom home building and how to proceed.
The Design/Build model employed by HPC is essentially a Master Builder concept in which HPC, as the general contractor, is the single point of contact and accountability for your entire home building project. This begins with the design. We will work alongside you with our architects and engineers to develop detailed building plans and to optimize schedules and costs. Our design fees will be waived if you contract with us to build your new home. We are also happy to build using your existing plans and to work with your design team.
When you decide to engage HPC we will enter into a design agreement and a construction contract. Both agreements will contain detailed budget estimates and schedules.
HPC promises that you will have a smooth and hassle-free construction project. Our project supervisor will be continuously on site to handle everything from permits to materials deliveries to debris disposal. Regularly scheduled status meetings insure that you are fully informed about each phase of construction and that all of your questions and requests are promptly addressed.
Completing the acceptance walkthrough of your new home is conclusion of the building project but only the start of your service relationship with HPC. Our warranty is our promise to you to respond promptly and professionally to any problems you may encounter with our workmanship, materials, or components. We are not finished until you are completely satisfied.
